Holographic Installations




These holographic installations are based on the good old Pepper’s ghost effect. Unless today we have LED screens and projectors at our disposal.
"Hologram" is a screen that is reflected on glass or foil. And the effects on the floor are created by projection.
 

The installation can be run on one or several computers. But the engine I developed for these installations makes it quite easy to create content. The virtual prototype of the holographic installation completely imitates the real setup. Content work is carried out in a single 3D scene, which is then automatically rendered correctly on different screens.
 

Moreover, to automate the creation of such setups from a variety of screens, i created a tool that allows doing this in a relatively simple way without any calculations.
